Before I did any research I thought the Power Balance were cool. I wanted one just like lots of other people. But now I know more about them and know they're not just cool looking but they actually help you with balance, strength, and flexibility. I have looked through videos, watching classmates try the tests, Power Balance website and other websites with all the same information, that the bands work and are not a fraud.
Power Balance is helping athletes with their abilities to do better in sports. To test this hypothesis you would test people who play a certain sport (say you test football players). You would have half of the players use Power Balance for a month and the other half not use it. You would watch for improvements in the players with the Power Balance. Recording simple test like how far they can throw a football, how accurate their aim is, how fast they can run the lenght of the feild are a few things that might be different when they use the Power Balance. But if they do thoes test you would have the whole team the test it with the Power Balance and with out it. During the month half the team has Power Balance on you would record observations on the proformance of the players with and with out Power Balance. The score might even be different since Power Balance is suppose to make you stronger.
Before you make a hypothesis and an investagation you have to look at all the sides of the Power Balance. You need to research, understand and know about your subject before you try and expirement on it. If you don't you can't truly understand what your testing on.
